Increase in Supervised Consumption Fees – Derbyshire County Council

Following a service review process with Derbyshire County Council, Community Pharmacy Derbyshire has successfully negotiated an increase to the fees associated with supervised consumption.

From the 1st May 2025 the fees will be as follows:

£2.70 per dose for Methadone – up from £2.30

£3.50 per dose for Buprenorphine – up from £2.90

This was against a very challenging economic landscape in which all services that the Council has received requests for uplifts has been refused.

This contract is in place for 3 years. CP Derbyshire has however negotiated an “exceptional circumstances” in which we can invoke an earlier review should the economic position change significantly.

These fees were considered by your LPC Committee and agreed as acceptable, with the provision that an early review may be triggered if required.
