Vision for Community Pharmacy Derbyshire

Our vision is to create a thriving network of community pharmacies across Derbyshire that are fully integrated into the wider health and care system.

Community pharmacy plays a vital role in delivering accessible care and is central to the “Fit for the Future” 10-year health plan for England, supporting prevention, early intervention, and integrated healthcare delivery.

We aim to support contractors to meet the aims of the 10 Year plan by fostering strong collaboration with general practice, NHS services, local authorities, and voluntary organisations, working to build resilient, person-centred care pathways.

We are committed to working transparently and responsibly to ensure financial probity, making the best use of LPC resources for the benefit of contractors.

Together, we will empower community pharmacy teams to play a leading role in prevention, early intervention, and long-term condition management—supporting Derbyshire’s residents to live healthier, more independent lives.
