Service Implementation & Support Manager
Chris is a registered pharmacy technician and pharmacy contractors may remember her as a pharmacy commissioning manager with NHS England until Summer 2021, when she retired her NHS lanyard after 36+ NHS years’ service.
Her working life started in community pharmacy, after which Chris moved into secondary care pharmacy at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and then as a senior technician at Kingsmill Hospital. From there, she joined the PCT in 2000 as a prescribing support tech before moving into a primary care role where she managed a portfolio of pharmacy NHS commissioned services, pharmacy contracting and market entry.
During the pandemic Chris volunteered at a Derbyshire pharmacist led Covid vaccination site.
Chris is focused on service delivery and maintenance to benefit patients and contractors.
