New Integrated Neighbourhoods section on our website

Community Pharmacy Derbyshire is pleased to share that the Integrated Neighbourhoods  webpage for Community Pharmacy Derbyshire is now live.

Neighbourhood health is becoming a central part of how the NHS plans to organise and deliver care over the next decade. The NHS 10 Year Health Plan outlines a shift towards providing more services in local communities, improving prevention and strengthening collaboration across organisations.
Community pharmacy is already embedded within neighbourhoods and plays an important role in improving access to care, medicines support and prevention services. As neighbourhood models evolve, it is important that community pharmacy continues to be part of these conversations and local partnerships.
The new webpage provides an overview of:
• What neighbourhood health means
• How neighbourhood models are being introduced
• What this may mean for community pharmacy in Derbyshire
We hope this resource will support contractors and stakeholders in understanding how neighbourhood working is developing locally and the role community pharmacy can play within it.
