Increase in EHC Fees – Derbyshire County Council

Following a service review process with Derbyshire County Council, Community Pharmacy Derbyshire has successfully negotiated an increase to the EHC fee.

From the 1st May 2025 the consultation fee for EHC will be £15.30.

This was against a very challenging economic landscape in which all services that the Council has received requests for uplifts has been refused. CP Derbyshire has requested fees in line with national contraception services, however the council was unable to reach these levels due to budgetary restraints.

Following the national announcement around EHC forming part of the national PCS and Pharmacy First services from 1st October, CP Derbyshire will be having further discussions regarding the local service in the coming months and encouraging use of the existing funding to be invested for the benefit of community pharmacy.
